Bad Boys

Once upon a time in a small town in Indiana, Diana and her friends decided to go to the movies. They were young and carefree, but it was late and they needed to call their parents to find a ride home. It just so happened that there was a group of unsavory young men loitering around a nearby gas station. And given the overactive imagination of the young ladies, these teenage boys came to look more menacing by the minute. Concerned for their well being, they decided to call Mr. Grimes and tell him about their precarious situation. They were damsels in distress (or, so it would seem) being harassed by "smart punks." 

Mr. Grimes hung up the phone and called on his son Richard to get in the car with a baseball bat. Within minutes they pulled up to rescue the nice young ladies: a one eyed dad and an older brother, who was more lean than fat, but armed and dangerous. 

Diana and her friends jumped into the car and were whisked away to safety! It could have been a  scene from The Outsiders, albeit a G-rated version.
