Road Rage

Once upon a time Greg was taking his family on a road trip to Florida. They were going to attend a family friend's wedding and he had driven the Suburban more than a 1,000 miles.

Now it is true that Greg had always suffered from a touch of road rage, so it may have been that or it may have been his difficulty with technical things malfunctioning. (Or even a combination of the two.)

Whatever the case may be, the Grimes family and their daughter's friend Chelsea were in for a treat.

Greg pulled up to a toll both with a basket and tossed in his coins only for the coins to bounce out. Disquieted by this phenomenon, he chucked in more coins, only to have them bounce out. The harder he chucked, the farther they bounced and everyone in the car was beginning to squirm in their seats and feel a little uncomfortable.

Poor Chelsea silently squeezed Diana's hand. She was not a timid woman; quite the contrary, Chelsea was the type of young woman who enjoyed punk and ska music and could stomach more than most people her age.

Much to everyone's relief, some of the coins hit the back of the basket so hard that they fell flat and went in. Cha-ching! The gate opened and off they went on the open road.
